Game Gal #7: Shantae

Shantae was a great game that got overlooked when it came out on Gameboy Color, but that was due in part to the Gameboy Advance having been out already. But by a miracle a sequel got made and put out on DSi ware, and soon it will be available on all iOS devices. The original is rare and expensive these days, but if you like good platformers then give the sequel a try on DSi/3DS or iOS when that version launches.
